Speech-Language Pathologist

Mira is a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with a passion for empowering children to communicate effectively. She has had the privilege of working extensively with children and youth of all ages and backgrounds. She believes therapy should be effective and fun, and values collaboration with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members.

Mira has experience in providing assessment and treatment to a diverse population of clients with communication difficulties including articulation, language, literacy, fluency, and social communication difficulties. Her experience garnered from both the public and private sector has helped her hone skills in helping children develop clear speech, robust language skills, and a love for reading and writing. She understands the importance of catering to diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds, which is why she is dedicated to culturally responsive care.

Her academic journey includes a Bachelor’s in Physiology from McGill University and a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Western University. Mira is a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario.
