Speech-Language Pathologist

Theresa is passionate about supporting children and their families on their communication journey. She has previous experience working with preschool and school-aged children with a variety of speech and language difficulties. She is a strong advocate for early intervention and using evidence-based practice (integrating the best available evidence with clinical knowledge and the patient’s interests) in her clinical-decision making.

Theresa also has a keen interest in research related to language processing. She is specifically interested in how language, memory, and other cognitive processes influence language performance.

Theresa completed her M.Cl.Sc. in Speech-Language Pathology at Western University. She also received her Ph.D. in Speech and Language Science at Western University and B.Sc. from the University of Toronto. She is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).
