Shahrukh is an MSW, RSW who earned her Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, specializing in mental health.

Shahrukh has been working in the mental health field supporting children, youth, and families for over 6 years within multiple settings like community-based agencies, hospitals, and private practices while working with diverse populations. When working with children and families, Shahrukh’s focus is to use creative and expressive therapeutic approaches, while prioritizing a client-centered approach.

Being an immigrant herself and being able to fluently communicate in both Urdu and Punjabi, Shahrukh values practicing from a culturally sensitive and culturally adaptive therapeutic lens.
