Social Skills & Self-Regulation Group Therapy
Social Skills & Self-Regulation Group Therapy supports children who would benefit from building their social skills and self-regulation skills. Participants will be introduced to key concepts from the well-established Social Thinking® and Zones of Regulation® frameworks.
Sessions are interactive and include role-playing, movement-based activities, use of videos, arts & crafts, and games designed to help participants understand group concepts, identify their own social and self-regulation challenges, and develop practical strategies to navigate everyday situations.
This program is divided into two components: Social Thinking® content facilitated by a Speech-Language Pathologist, and Zones of Regulation® content facilitated by an Occupational Therapist. This program takes place in-person at Boomerang Health.
