Occupational Therapist

Jordana has been working as an Occupational Therapist for over 10 years. She has extensive experience working with the paediatric population, and has done so in a variety of practice settings. These include hospitals, schools, the community and the private sector. Jordana has seen children with diverse needs, ranging in age from infancy to adolescence. Jordana is well versed in the area of sensory integration, and has taken a number of theory and intervention courses regarding this frame of reference. Further, Jordana is trained to administer the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and implement the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding. Jordana has pursued training internationally, where she led outpatient groups at a children’s hospital in Southern Australia. Upon return, Jordana received the I.V. League of Occupational Therapists Prize in Community Rehabilitation, through the University of Toronto, recognizing her international health initiatives.

Jordana prides herself on her client-centered methodology, individualized treatment approaches, and ability to enable optimal occupational performance in a variety of settings. Jordana excels at working as part of a team, recognizing the profound benefits associated with multi-disciplinary care.

Jordana is a registered Occupational Therapist who received a Master of Science degree in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto and an Honour’s Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. Jordana is a member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).

Outside of work, Jordana enjoys spending time with friends and family, and is an avid spinner!
