Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist Alessia Ragno earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto after completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Certificate in Disability and Physical Activity at Queen’s University.

Alessia is passionate about empowering children and families to achieve their goals through meaningful, play-based interventions. Her approach emphasizes building on each child’s individual strengths and abilities during key developmental stages to support growth, skill development, and overall well-being.

Her clinical experience includes assessments and therapeutic interventions across school, hospital, and community settings, where she supports clients using evidence-based, client-centred practices. She has also previously contributed to research focused on developing a web-based outcome measure for paediatric prosthetics.

Outside of work, Alessia enjoys staying active through fitness and ballet classes, spending time outdoors, and connecting with friends and family.
