Physiotherapist Resident

Crystal is a Physiotherapist Resident, having earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour at McMaster University.

Crystal is passionate about supporting individuals across all stages of development, from infancy through adolescence. While she enjoys working with all ages, she is particularly drawn to paediatric care because of the opportunity to foster growth, confidence, and independence during critical developmental periods. Her clinical interests include neurodevelopment, gross motor milestones, orthopaedics, and overall strength and conditioning to support daily functional activities.

Crystal takes a collaborative, play-based approach to therapy, incorporating each child’s interests to create engaging and purposeful sessions while working toward functional goals. She values working closely with families and caregivers to ensure therapy feels practical and meaningful to daily life. She strives to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where children feel empowered to celebrate progress at their own pace.

Her diverse clinical experience, including paediatric acute and community care, has shaped her adaptable and thoughtful approach to care. Crystal values learning alongside children and families, using each experience to grow as a clinician while continually improving the quality of care she provides.

Outside of the clinic, Crystal enjoys cooking, staying active through Pilates and the gym, camping, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
