Kiren is a Registered Physiotherapist, having earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Kiren is proudly registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Kiren’s passion lies in paediatric care, spanning from the delicate care of the youngest preemies to the dynamic challenges of teenagers. Kiren’s ongoing journey for professional growth is evident as she is currently working towards completing her certification in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI). DMI is a method of treatment for children with motor delay by improving automatic postural responses and promoting progress towards developmental milestones. Her pursuit of this advanced therapy compliments her existing repertoire of skills, allowing her to address a wider spectrum of children with varying levels of neurological functions with expertise.

Prior to joining Boomerang, Kiren’s experience in a sports orthopaedic setting allowed her to cultivate a strong foundation of manual therapy skills, exercise prescription, gait analysis, and taping techniques. Her diverse experience extends to working in post-operative rehabilitation, oncology, and geriatric care. Kiren’s creative and patient approach to therapy fosters a safe environment to challenge her clients in a fun and motivating way! She values communication and strives to employ a whole body and mind approach to therapy. By collaborating closely with individuals and their family, Kiren tailors her therapeutic interventions to assist them in reaching their unique goals.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Kiren finds joy in artistic pursuits with a passion for writing, drawing, and painting! She is currently learning to play the violin and loves spending time with her pets.
