Amanda Langleben
MSc.OT., OT Reg. (Ont.)
Occupational Therapist
Amanda recently completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto, after earning her Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Certificate in Disability and Physical Activity from Queen’s University.
She has always been drawn to working with children and has supported them in a variety of settings, from camps and community programs to clinical environments. These experiences showed her how powerful play and creativity can be in helping children build confidence, independence, and resilience. Amanda takes pride in helping a child realize the potential they always had and believes therapy should feel fun and engaging while still supporting growth in meaningful ways. She values family collaboration and strives to make therapy something that feels practical and natural both in the clinic and at home.
In addition to her clinical work, Amanda is a volunteer researcher at SickKids, where she contributes to paediatric health research. She has a strong passion for research and lifelong learning, and she is committed to integrating the latest evidence into her practice to best support the children and families she works with.
Outside of her professional role, Amanda enjoys playing pickleball, participating in Pilates classes, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog.
