Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

Boomerang Health, powered by SickKids, is a multidisciplinary paediatric clinic, independent but wholly owned by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).  

SickKids opened Boomerang Health in April 2013, a 10,000 sq. ft. healthcare centre in Vaughan, to provide the York Region community and beyond, with greater access to community-based services for children and adolescents. Available Position

We are currently looking to fill an immediate position for a part-time/full-time PHYSICAL MEDICINE and REHABILITATION physician who will work collaboratively with the orthopaedic, neurology and rehab teams in the clinic and at SickKids. 

Additional Information

We have 8 specialists and 5 general and consulting paediatricians who have their specific patients, but share their general practice for sick visits and coverage when required. Our medical services are offered Monday to Friday by appointment, as we do not provide urgent care or walk-in services. Our rehabilitation and developmental services are offered Monday to Saturday. Furthermore, we recently expanded our virtual care services, to include offering all of our medical and rehab and developmental services through virtual visits, where applicable. 

We are presently providing a combination of in-person and virtual and/or telephone appointments as much as possible for all of our medical and rehab and developmental patients. We continue to work with our staff on a regular basis to reassess our guidelines for in-person vs virtual visits. The following is a list of our services:
