*NEW* Real World Skills Group Therapy
Real World Skills Group Therapy is aimed at helping teenagers in Grades 10 to 12 build real-world independence skills beyond the classroom. Participants will learn how to search for jobs, prepare a cover letter and resume, and practice interview skills. Each session includes hands-on activities designed to build confidence, independence, and readiness for life outside of school in a low-pressure environment.
This program includes four group sessions facilitated by a Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) and two group sessions facilitated by a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Participants are required to bring a laptop or tablet with typing capabilities to group sessions. Sessions are held in-person at the clinic.
A complimentary pre-group screening is offered to determine group appropriateness.
