Executive Functioning Group Therapy: Tools to Get Things Done
Executive Functioning Group Therapy focuses on supporting participants in developing greater independence with everyday tasks. The group targets a range of executive functioning skills, including:
- staying on task
- planning
- following-through
- remaining organized
- adapting to unexpected situations
- managing time
- self-monitoring
Sessions are interactive and incorporate practical strategy development for school and home, along with activities designed to support cognitive and functional skill development.
This 8-session program is facilitated by a Registered Occupational Therapist and takes place in-person at Boomerang Health.
