Boomerang Health, powered by SickKids, is a multidisciplinary paediatric clinic, independent but wholly owned by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). We offer physician and rehabilitation and developmental services up to the age of 18. 

SickKids opened Boomerang Health in April 2013, a 10,000 sq. ft. healthcare centre in Vaughan, to provide the York Region community and beyond, with greater access to community-based services for children and adolescents. Available Position(s)

We are currently looking to fill an immediate position(s) for a general and consulting paediatrician in a locum, part-time, or full-time capacity who will work collaboratively with the medical and rehabilitation and developmental clinicians in the clinic and at SickKids. We are also open to hiring supervised physicians.

Additional Information

We have 7 specialists and 5 general and consulting paediatricians. Our medical services are offered, in-person and virtually, Monday to Friday by appointment, as we do not provide urgent care or walk-in services. We do however provide weekend virtual primary care services to our Boomerang Health patients and families. Furthermore, our rehabilitation and developmental services are offered Monday to Sunday.

We are presently providing a combination of in-person and virtual and/or telephone appointments as much as possible for all our medical and rehab and developmental patients. We continue to work with our staff on a regular basis to reassess our guidelines for in-person vs virtual visits. The following is a list of our services:
