Rise & Shine: Movement-Based OT & PT Group Therapy is designed for children in SK to Grade 2 who would benefit from support developing the foundational movement and functional skills needed for participation in school, play, and everyday routines. The group also supports emotional regulation, confidence, independence, peer interaction, and participation in age-appropriate functional tasks.

Through engaging activities such as obstacle courses, partner games, relay challenges, and movement-based exercises, participants will work on balance, coordination, strength, postural control, motor planning, body awareness, sensory processing, self-regulation, and attention. Activities are adapted to meet individual needs while promoting active participation in a fun, supportive, and collaborative environment.

This 6-week program is facilitated by a Registered Occupational Therapist and Registered Physiotherapist and takes place in-person at Boomerang Health.
