Occupational Therapist

Kristyn is an occupational therapist who is passionate about supporting children and families in their day to day lives. She holds an HBSc and an MSc in Occupational Therapy both from the University of Toronto. She is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) and is a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT).

Kristyn has extensive experience working with children and youth across settings including hospitals, schools, and private clinics. Kristyn has worked with individuals with a variety of goals including communication, social skills, mental health, sensory processing, self-regulation, fine and gross motor skills, and self-care skills.

Kristyn uses a strengths-based approach and carries a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens when working with children and families. Kristyn also strongly believes that therapy doesn’t have to be boring and utilizes play-based and art-based approaches in her practice.

Kristyn has a working proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese and can provide services in these languages if needed.
