Kristen Wong

Speech-Language Pathologist
Kristen is a trilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who is committed to delivering client-centered therapy that is engaging, functional yet evidence-based. Kristen places great value on caregiver collaboration and is an advocate for empowering families with tools to best support their children’s communication development.
Kristen has experience in providing assessments and treatments in the area of developmental language delays, social communication, motor speech, articulation, and the use of alternative and augmentative communication systems (AAC). Having experience working with various populations, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and children who have hearing loss, some of whom have been in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and have associated cleft lip and/or palate, Kristen strives to create an inclusive space where diversity is embraced and honored.
Kristen completed both an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psycholinguistics and a Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto and is a recipient of multiple awards, including the Ontario Graduate Scholarship and the Harmonize for Speech Graduate Scholarship. Kristen is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). Kristen is also certified in Hanen’s “It Takes Two to Talk” program, and is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
