Jaimie Kennedy

Registered Dietitian

Jaimie Kennedy is a registered dietitian who has specialized in disordered eating, eating disorders, and those who struggle with body image.  Always interested in nutrition and the complex relationship many people have with food, Jaimie graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food & Nutrition at Ryerson University in 2000. After completing the dietetic internship program at the Hospital for Sick Children in 2001, she practiced in a variety of settings before settling into a position as a clinical dietitian in the eating disorders program at SickKids. She has worked in inpatient, outpatient and day program settings, where she was responsible for nutrition assessments, meal planning and nutrition education.  For over 15 years, Jaimie has provided patient care, contributed to program development, participated in and published research studies, presented at conferences across the country, and provided education to practitioners close to home and around the world. With limited resources available in the community, she has extended her scope to provide consultation to those who are seeking help outside the hospital setting.

Combining years of experience, highly developed intuition and a deep level of understanding, Jaimie strives to work with individuals and families and help people overcome disordered eating through personalized nutritional counselling.
