Rachel Leung, Ph.D., C.Psych. is a clinical neuropsychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario with practice areas in Neuropsychology with children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Following the completion of her doctoral degree in Psychology at the University of Toronto, she completed more than two years of post-doctoral training at the Hospital for Sick Children and Toronto Western Hospital. Her work and training experience encompasses a number of hospital and community settings including the Hospital for Sick Children, University Health Network (Toronto Western Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital), Trillium Health Partners and Surrey Place Centre. Her experience with a range of clinical populations across the age spectrum has led her to develop an evidence-based and unique lifespan approach to her work in order to better understand brain-behaviour relationships and their role in promoting better patient health outcomes. Dr. Leung has a wealth of experience conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children and adolescents with learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, intellectual difficulties and complex medical needs. She is passionate about patient-centered care in optimizing functioning, health and quality of life in patients and their families. Lastly, she has published extensively on the neural substrates of social cognition in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
