Mary received her Masters of Science in Education from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. She is a member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario. Mary enjoys working with preschool and school age children in the following areas: receptive language, expressive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication skills.
Mary has experience working with children with developmental disabilities (including autism spectrum disorders and Down Syndrome) and those with traumatic brain injury. Mary utilizes the early language strategies presented through the Hanen “It Takes Two to Talk” program. She believes in tailoring treatment programs to suit each child’s individual needs. Mary has provided services in a variety of settings, including schools, homes, and day cares.
Mary understands that collaboration and teamwork are essential for client success. She works alongside her clients, their caregivers and additional service providers to create functional goals and individualized therapy activities. Mary always strives to acquire ongoing knowledge and training, in order to best support her client’s progress and development.
