Speech-Language Pathologist & Manager of Programs
Lauren is a compassionate and dedicated speech-language pathologist with a diverse range of clinical experience assisting children and adolescents with special needs and developmental disorders as well as communication difficulties including articulation and phonological disorders, developmental and acquired language disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and motor speech disorders. With experience working in both community and clinical settings, Lauren values the importance of collaboration with families and other health care professionals in order to provide patient-centred care.
In addition to Lauren’s clinical experience, she has conducted and participated in several clinical research projects related to motor speech disorders including Parkinson’s disease and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Through such experiences, Lauren has developed a keen understanding of the process and importance of delivering evidence-based care in clinical practice.
Lauren is a registered speech-language pathologist with a Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Western Ontario. She also holds a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from York University. Lauren is a member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
