Program Leader, Physiotherapy
Kaite Chircop is a registered physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience. She is passionate about paediatric healthcare and is excited to be part of the team at Boomerang Health. She has a special interest in treating plagiocephaly and torticollis, orthopedic injuries, as well as developmental assessments for young children.
Kaite has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career as a physiotherapist. She has worked in private clinics, treating patients with various musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and neurological disorders. She has also been an off- ice trainer for figure skaters. More recently, she has worked at the University Health Network’s Toronto Rehabilitation Institute with patients of all ages with complex musculoskeletal injuries and medical complications. She enjoyed being a speaker at the Complex Musculoskeletal Conference in Toronto in 2013 and teaching labs at the University of Toronto to the physiotherapy students. She has completed research in paediatrics both at the Hospital for Sick Children, as well as Queen’s University, and this research won her the Canadian Physiotherapy Research Foundation Award.
Kaite has a Bachelor of Science degree (with honours) in Physical Education and Health from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Queen’s University. She has been a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists since 2007.
When not working, Kaite enjoys running after her two small children and supporting them in their love of sport. She enjoys being physically active, running, and challenging herself to try new physical activities
